Tatting is a 200-year-old lacemaking technique that uses very few tools. It evolved from sailors’ netmaking techniques. Modern tatters use traditional patterns and develop new methods and unique use of materials. Lauren Snyder will present tatted items and teach us. If you would like to learn to tat please bring a tatting shuttle.
