FAQs for Fair Exhibitors in the Lace, Crochet & Knit Decorative Arts Department
Advice for Exhibitors
  • Be sure to pay close attention to the different categories. Make sure that you are entering your item in the correct category, do not enter thread crochet under yarn crochet.
  •  Lace knit/crochet shawls should NOT be entered under the Lace Making categories. They should be entered under Yarn/Thread Crochet or Knit Articles.
  • Block items that should be blocked. Acrylic yarns should be laid flat while drying to encourage desired shape, but will resist most standard blocking techniques. Also some design elements should not be blocked, like ribbing. Ask at your local yarn store, a friend or at a guild meeting if you have questions about blocking.

First Place: $7.00     Second Place: $3.00
