SNOHOMISH KNITTER’S GUILD
COVID GUIDELINES
COVID GUIDELINES
The board has met and decided that the honor system for vaccination status is not enough to protect our guild members, so we are adjusting our policy for everyone’s safety. Going forward the guidelines will be:
MONTHLY MEETINGS: All individuals will be required to wear a mask to attend our indoor monthly guild meetings, regardless of vaccination status. There will be no exceptions. If you are unable to wear a mask, or do not desire to wear one, then the meeting will still be jointly broadcast on Zoom, and you can attend online.
EXTRA GUILD EVENTS: Any meetings other than the Monthly guild meetings, sponsored by the guild will require all participants to show they have been fully vaccinated at least two weeks before the event. Non-Vaccinated individuals will not be allowed to attend these events. This includes board meetings, yearly retreat, and any other guild sponsored field trips. The guild cannot provide proper distancing during these events that include working in close proximity and may involve eating and drinking without masks. There is no way to ensure everyone will remain safe without proper vaccinations.
These new guidelines will be effective from August 2nd, 2021, until the board votes to remove or change them based on CDC and State guidelines.
