Your membership dues at work
We use your dues for the following:
Our balance sheets are always available to our members. Our fiscal year runs from October to September, and we strive to use all of the money that we take in throughout the year for the benefit of the guild. We are not amassing a large bank account balance, and we try to end up as close as possible to $0 at the end of the fiscal year. The events we sponsor must pay for themselves (Yarn Train, Fall Retreat, etc.).
- Rental for our monthly meetings at the Waltz Bldg in Snohomish ($75/month)
- Liability Insurance Premium ($33.50/month)
- Website & domain renewal ($50/year)
- Speaker fees and some of the travel expenses for our marvelous guest speakers
- Our annual Birthday and Holiday parties (food, drink and paper products)
- Occasional door prizes
- Promotional items to hand out at public events (business cards, flyers, etc)
