12 April 2016 - Heirlooms Show and Tell and a Tea Party!
Members are welcome to bring needlecraft and related heirlooms for an extended Show and Tell program. Maybe it's a garment or accessory crocheted or knitted by a dear family member, your grandmother's sewing kit, or a special needlecraft find at an antique store or secondhand shop. Please bring it in and plan to share about it. If possible, please limit yourself to bringing in four items. And, please bring a teacup (or special mug)! It's April and we're celebrating spring and our heirlooms with a tea party. 10 to 12 teapots are needed, and about 6 to 8 creamers and sugar bowls; please e-mail Marion at email@example.com if you can bring any in. Several loose leaf and bagged teas will be provided, along with cookies, milk and sugar and water. Hats and gloves are welcome but optional.
