This is an annual event, usually in July or August. Even if you never make it to your seats to watch the game, it is a fun and exciting evening that you don't want to miss!

This event is for ANYONE who has an interest in the perfect double play — NeedleArts and Baseball; beginners, intermediate and experts are all welcome. This is a really fun event, even if you're not a baseball fan. Dozens of shops bring their wares to Safeco Field and there is plenty to see and do and eat.

Stitch n' Pitch 2011
14 July, 2011 - We enjoyed the wonderful summer weather, watched a baseball game, and met with Nicky Epstein, a knitting and crochet designer. This was an incredible opportunity to visit a wide variety of yarn stores, all in one convenient location, while enjoying a great baseball game and the fabulous food that Safeco Field offers. We knit, crocheted and did other fiber art projects while enjoying the wonderful evening. We had a great turnout and nice weather by game time.
Our optional tote bag was stocked full of fun and interesting things that every knitter needs. The donated patterns featured in this year's pattern booklet were: Fortune Cookies by Tina Marie Smith, The Babe Scarf by E. A. Kelley, and Blueberry the Moose by The Byrd's Nest. An official Seattle Mariners Stitch n' Pitch t-shirt was available for pickup at the game with each ticket.

Stitch n' Pitch 2010
5 August, 2010 - This was our first year sponsoring a ticket buy for this event and we had a lot of fun attending the game and meeting Debbie Bliss, who threw out the first pitch, while browsing products and samples from local yarn and fiber vendors.
We had a lot of fun and offered a tote bag for purchase to haul all of your new yarn purchases home in. We're hoping to expand our efforts for next year's event and build to bigger and better things. Every ticket holder was able to pick up the limited edition Mariners Moose Stitch n' Pitch bobble head at the game.
